Boots! Third time was the charm and they finally made it here even after I had a panic attack because the shipping notification said they were left at the door (of my downtown place of work at 9am before the store opened). Alas they were not left on the street after all but left safely with my coworker. My feet are going to take a while to befriend them, but I love them all the same.

Month 2 down in the thunderdome. Ankle rolls are settling in and picking up some nice ghostly indigo crocking from my jeans. Instep/toe box is starting to relax a little, the western last starts out looking kinda dainty but it's looking more cowboyish now. These really are gorgeous boots. I haven't done anything to them yet, they definitely don't need conditioning.

It's hard to notice the changes in them wearing them day to day but the monthly progression is neat to see.

BOOT POST

I ordered these Nicks Prospectors in July when this Cypress Light Grey leather was on limited offering. I had been looking for a true grey boot for a while but most greys lean more brown and they're gorgeous but I have a lot of brown boots lol.

I think i say this every time a pair of Nicks show up on my doorstep but I think these are my new favorite boots lol. I'm sad I won't wear them much until April when the thunderdome is over.

As much as I like my dome boots the pointier packer toe is just not really my style. This big aggressive toe on the 67 last is where my heart lies.

(Ignore the sweatpants it's still morning lol.)
