Rumour is that Alex had written some of it with the plan to use it as a James Bond theme song but in the end wasn't chosen, and in turn used it to work on the True Detective soundtrack. Could be wrong, but that was what was going around last month about the song.

oooh i was wondering if that’s what happened when i heard it since it’s so bond-esque and there were all those rumors about am doing the bond theme a few months ago

Yeah there used to be an Instagram photo of James Ford and everyone else that worked on the album on there but it was deleted last month. I just posted the quote, about the guy working on it with them, too.

It’s funny cause they didn’t hide it… James Ford was on the album, there was an Insta pic, and an interview with someone else on it on Spotify…

the anon said james ford produced the song so i tried searching for info about that but didn’t find any mention of it at all?? who had an insta pic? and do you mean an interview mentioning that he wrote it? i didn’t hear anything about it until today

Probably why Miles has been visiting LA for the past year. Trying to find some opening for them to record there in 2015.

45, Miles & Alex

Sometimes Alex saw Miles.

His jaw, the curl of his hair behind his ears, the slope of his shoulders, his long legs and swaying gait. His fashion sense- that damned leather jacket or leopard print button up or those ridiculous patterned trousers. His mouth, quirking up at one side like he was thinking about smiling. His eyes, dancing with mirth.

It was never really Miles, though. It was always, upon closer inspection, a trick of the light. An illusion conjured up by Alex’s grief.

Alex usually took the blokes home anyway. He shagged them, slept beside them, and invariably woke up wondering what it might be like to suffer a head on collision.
