The only thing I’ll say about boozer/old Hook is that I found Emma’s comments to simply be strange. The fake Hook had obviously had no one to care about or for, and his revenge was utterly at a dead end, so the thought that he would succumb to alcoholism and subsequently let his health (presumably) go in the real world is just... silly.

And yes, I know the entire wish!verse was ludicrous and ill-conceived and even more poorly executed. Hence why I’m not going to dwell on it anymore.
