I’m going to lose my mind if I see another “Neal was a terrible person” post. A lot of people argue that according to a wanted poster he was around 23 when he met a 16/17 Emma, but guys. Have you ever thought that perchance Neal lied about his age when he landed in Emma’s world? I know that sounds like a cop-out but listen!

Literally nothing at all on that wanted poster was correct, 1. He’s not from NJ, 2. His freaking real name isn’t even Neal Cassidy, and 3. he was born like 200 years before his stated dob. Baelfire was like 14-16 when he wound up in Neverland, so physically he would have been that age when he got to the real world. He doesn’t ever mention being in the foster system or anything, so we can assume he probably avoided it. And if his info is on a wanted poster that would mean he would have needed a kind of form of identification. A fake one. Lying and saying he was maybe, 21 or older would have helped him gain all the benefits of being a legal adult! Like certain jobs and staying out of the foster system. Also the poster was shown for like half a second, I don’t know how closely the viewers were supposed to look at it. Multiple times during the show they were both called “teens” or “kids” when referring back to their past relationships. Pretty sure Mr. Gold calls what they had a “teenage love affair” or smthing a long those lines. Also again, literally nothing on that poster is true.

That being said It’s hard to argue what age he is exactly when the actors portraying supposed young Neal and Emma were literally just grown adults that the show just wanted us to believe they were young. And in real life the actors have a a 1-2 year difference. And guys let’s not forget ouat is TERRIBLE at age consistency.

Plus if we are going to hate on Neal for an age gap that is kinda up for debate, let’s take a quick look at all the other questionable age gaps. Rumple/Belle, Killan/Emma, Hades/Zelena, and our favorite non canon ship Regina/Emma! Not saying that if Neal WAS that much older it would have been okay, I just don’t believe he was and I’m pointing out that for some reason people only ever hate on Baelfire/Emma!

And guys let’s not forget Regina is canonically a rpist. But people still adore her! It’s stupid, bad writing, and out of character but still a canonical thing. People just extend more mercy for this than Neal.

I guess if you hate Neal for abandoning Emma, that’s fine! Heck, even if you believe in your heart of hearts that he really was physically 23, that’s fine too! I just disagree lol! I’m not really here to police what characters you can or can’t criticize, in ouat you kinda have to be picky and choosey. I’m just here to put my 2 cents in about one of my fav characters! In conclusion I HIGHLY doubt Neal was any older than say 18-19.

there's a lot of plot holes in Once Upon A Time, but the one that plagues me the most... Is how time works in Storybrooke. How did they not know that they were living the same day over and over again? Did they just not think about it? Did they wear the same outfit everyday? Was it like a groundhog Day situation, or was it just the same 24 hours but they could do whatever they wanted in those 24 hours?

If it was the same 24 hours, how do dates work? Because with the paper did they put a new date every day? And if so how did they not realize oh shit it's been 28 years and everyone looks exactly the same.

Also, if it is a groundhog Day situation, how did they go through 28 years of rent day? That just seems so awful xD and Mr Gold having to go around every day to collect that rent, just diabolical

Since they don't age, how did Mary Margaret not realize she had the same students every year? How did Henry not notice that everyone stayed the same age except him? Why did Regina think she could raise a child who would age, around people who didn't age? I mean especially with her, she could isolate him but she still wouldn't age.

Thinking about Ashley/Cinderella, how did she handle being pregnant for 28 years? That sounds like the most evil thing Regina did lol

Ouat Rewatch s1:e2

- I’m sure it’s been pointed out but Henry’s bedroom walls are striped. Kinda makes me think of a prison.

-Regina: “do I look like I need a drink!?” Babe, you always look like you need a drink.

- Maleficent being evil but not *that* evil always gets me.

- I feel like the line about the curse creating a void in Regina that could never be filled was a great thread that just kinda got dropped through the seasons. I mean, I think the implication was that her love for Henry sort of filled it and helped her work back toward the light but later seasons just rehash the whole Regina is just evil because evil is evil, even after she saves everyone’s ass a thousand times over. I mean heck we had the whole arc about Emma’s only good because Snowing magically bleached her heart.

- Operation Cobra.

- the ship’s wheel behind Emma when Henry’s telling her who she really is 😆

- S1 Emma: *chops branch off of apple tree in anger.* s5 Snowing: she said an angry thing, that’s so not like her, she must be going /evil/.

- the scenes where rumple is talking nose to nose with Regina make me wanna brush my teeth. No reason.

- the reveal that Henry Sr. is Regina’s dad always gets me too.

I just realized Belle and Rumple married next THE WELL??? Of all the places… the one that symbolized how still attached Rumple was to power?? Really guys? Doomed wedding since the wedding venue. You guys didn’t even TRY

I just thought of something amazing and idk if it would work well in fic but what if...what if... Wendy's gone to Neverland before and met the Lost Boys and Peter Pan in OUAT...

then again if the events of Peter Pan happened, then Wendy would've had more brothers than shown in the show when Baelfire entered the picture. We would've seen Slightly, Nibs, The Twins, Tootles, and Curly...

but I mean do you think I could work that in an AU fic anyway?

if we are to believe that regina is a straight woman (impossible) then I truly do think she would not have a romantic love after Daniel. I don't think that after Daniel's death as well as Leopold and rumples abuse she could ever devote herself to a man because of the memories they bring to her.

This is different of course with henry and I actually think with having a child she would prefer a boy so she could raise him to have the respect for women that the men of her past lacked and daniel showed her for the first time. As well as the fear that having a daughter would bring and Regina not wanting to become her mother.

dont even get me started on her father because I can smell the comments saying that her father was a good man to her and she wouldnt hate men bc of him bla bla bla. respectfully, you are wrong<3! love must go beyond the simple profession of it and Henry Sr's. did not. Yes he cared for her but his care did not extend into bravery and that is where love resides. Daniel was ready to stand up to Cora on Reginas behalf when they were about to run away, Henry Sr sat by and watched while his daughter was restrained in the air and who knows what else.

I do not know if Regina ever came to terms with her true feelings for her father but deep down I think she knows he was not a good parent, but compared to Cora he sure seemed like one. Any comfort at all through her childhood was from him and that attachment overshadowed everything else he failed to do.

And with her using him to cast the curse, I do not think at that point she held much love for him at all. She thought she loved her horse more then him first of all. Yes she had to sacrifice what she loved the most but there was nobody else alive for her to love. (except Mal but thats a whole different post hehe) the dark curse is meant to be hard to cast, otherwise everyone would go around doing it. Most sane people would register that they cannot get their happy endings if the person they love most is not there, but regina 1. was not sane, and 2. knew she could live without her father. Did she love him? yes im sure she did. but only as far as she could throw him.

In the underworld I think her father felt so much guilt about Reginas childhood that he never faulted her for killing him and that is when I think his love was the strongest. But it was too late. I do think however that Regina got the closure she needed to move on from his death because once her anger ebbed away over the years of the curse I do think she felt incredibly guilty.

Anyway this blossomed because I was thinking about how much I hate robin and his beard and Regina should of too!

I honestly can’t hate anyone this season

Season rating: 9/10

Not my favourite season but actually a really solid ending to an amazing show. Some of it was dumb but a lot of it was awesome. I loved the musical episode and the finale! Tbh it should have ended here.

Some of my thoughts rant from S1Ep4

I'm surprised by how ignorant/stupid so many of them were in the fairytale land about magic? Like do they really think just because you want it enough magic wouldn't have a price? It's fundamentally how it works! It wouldn't work without it! They want the magic, accept the price, then throw a tantrum when the price happens. It feels like they just cherry pick the parts they want to believe and call the bad parts lies. Gives me vibes of a child throwing a tantrum with Rumple as the parent trying to explain consequences. I know he manipulates the situation to get his way and plays people, but he was also pretty transparent in taking time to explain how the magic and deals work. He even warned Ella about the consequences of using the fairy magicked quill and we see Ella and her husband talking about it earlier, but when it actually happens they run to blame Rumple and Charming agrees as if Rumple doesn’t know what he’s talking about…the Dark One about magic. I just…confused face ???? Also ya Ella should have read the contract but that one's pretty obvious.
