This looks so good! I can't get over how talented you are, the colours are so vibrant and her expression is so classically Helga! I love this so much!!
Not even going to lie, the rush of recieving fanart again really kicked my butt into gear and now I have two scenes completed! Granted, this isn’t the most difficult of chapters I’ve written (if anything, I’d argue its a breather for me as much as it is for Helga), but still, I’ve got like two or three more scenes left, and then I’m done with the first draft!

As if my life hadn't already been difficult. I already had to watch the love of my life, Arnold, make goo-goo eyes at little Miss Perfect, Lila Sawyer, while completely ignoring me. Now, I have to juggle school, keeping my feelings for him secret and battling evil dressed in a skimpy bathing suit, all the while keeping my lifestyle as a superhero from my nosey classmates.

Creep by Radiohead. Sat by herself on the school bus, Helga watches Arnold fawn over Lila and realises how pathetic she is.
Let Down by Radiohead. Helga decides her name; Blue Jay is born.
Busy Earnin’ by Jungle. Helga jumps from house to house and realises just how badass her abilities are.
A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey. Overwhelmed with her duties and loneliness, Helga begins dancing. She tries to hold back her tears as she laments what she's lost that she never appreciated until now.
Like A Prayer (Choir Version) from Deadpool & Wolverine. "It was the right thing to do." Helga is honest with Lila (and herself).
Dreams by The Cranberries. Helga and Lila celebrate finishing their assignment with milkshakes.
Lakehouse by Of Monsters and Men. Chloe picks this for Helga’s first dance class.
With You in My Head by UNKLE ft. The Black Angels. Helga lets herself loose and dances.
Dancing with Myself by Billy Idol. Chloe picks this from Helga’s phone before the pair of them dance together.
Highschool Sweethearts by Melanie Martinez. Helga makes herself bait for the Wraith and awaits for it’s arrival.
You Could Be Mine by Guns N’ Roses. In the middle of a particularly tiring fight that feels like it’ll never end, Serec plays this song, which Helga theorises is meant as a distraction made specifically for her.
Fear by Seratones. The song that plays in the background after Rhonda’s first fight, in which she contemplates joining the group.
Blue by Elina. After coming back from an especially taxing battle, Rhonda serves everyone dinner; as it plays, Helga realises how much the girls have come to mean to her.
You're The One That I Want from Grease. The four have finally become a team.
TYRANT by Beyoncé. Fireworks in the sky, Rhonda puts on some music so the girls can finally have their dance party.
Human by Rag'n'Bone Man. Phone blaring, Lila spends the night in the kitchen, where she is bombarded with her friends' messages, her father (who unknowingly wants to catch her and her friends) and her own worries of never being useful enough.
