Scott Smajor I love you forever
Ft those freaks he can’t stand too ig
I see all your spiderman aus (which i love) but have we considered Grace as "civilian that keeps getting kidnapped" role?
Ok, consider;
Superhero Mira, pressured on all sides to start killing villains by her peers (most of whom do so) her parents (legacy hero’s) her brother (who is a jerk) and the media.
Civilian (no powers) Zoey is the only one who tells her not to kill the villains, instead arresting them and putting them through the courts via gadgets she makes/info about their powers.
Rumi who’s a “Supervillain” (who targets corrupt hero’s and takes away their powers) runs into a burning building and saves Zoey. (Zoey was caught in the crossfire between Mira and Rumi.)
Zoey is obviously working with one of the hero’s, so Rumi takes as much of her gear as she can along with Zoey to get info. (She intimidates but won’t hurt her.)
Mira assumes she kidnapped Zoey and is planning on torturing her. She ends up finding them a week later where Rumi is literally on her knees begging Zoey to leave her secret lair, no, stop, why are you taking apart my sunlamp, WHERE DID YOU GET URANIUM?? Stuff like that.
So Mira ends up just casually walking up behind Rumi and hugging her (her flame powers would let her burn Rumi to a cinder, and Rumi’s teleport wouldn’t work while someone’s holding her). She asks Zoey if she’s ok, and Zoey starts rambling about how nice Rumi is and how she refused to torture Zoey “even though she wanted info about *insert transparently corrupt hero’s name here* which I do have.”
For Mira it clicks really fast that Rumi isn’t targeting hero’s as a whole, specifically corrupt ones after she sees the meticulous notes Rumi has. (She let go of Rumi and started rifling through them despite her protests.)
(“Did you color code your notes about hero’s costumes?”
Rumi, who is blushing and stuttering and trying to grab the papers Mira is holding out of her reach and flustered in a way Mira’s never seen:)
Basically, the two of them adopt Rumi into their little group of “no-kill hero’s-villains-civilians”.
I dunno, I just think it’d be really funny cus before this all happened Rumi was known to be terrifying for the way she’d cripple or strip hero’s of their powers, with the exception of Mira or hero’s she knows are actually good people.
hero x villain moments
a smitten villain getting caught on purpose just to get scolded by hero
freezing when the other doesn't immediately get up after being slammed into a wall, instead laying motionless for a second too long
nervousness before facing the other, like you would before a date
in fact, their fights start being like a date. a very intense date, with not a lot of sweet talking, but... a date of sorts still
realising when the other is having a rough time and using a bad excuse to not beat them into the ground
sending the other a slightly mocking, slightly flirty care package after beating their ass
getting knocked out in a fight and not waking up in a cell but in their bed with a sticky note on their forehead with "get well soon, idiot" scribbled on it
Superhero & Villain Ranchers AU
It’s just a simple superhero/villain AU with an healthy amount of angst thrown in for good health
World building
It is forbidden for a hybrid or non-human to use their powers/“advantages” ; it is , however , technically not illegal. But for a hybrid to gain the same amount of “privileges” as humans they have to give up their hybrid side; for avians that is their wings.
The capital is riddled with crime and although the government’s police force can handle the minor leagues of criminals, to a certain degree, they cannot handle criminals of non-human descent. So they started to hire hybrids and other creatures to fight off the increased hybrid crimes. These individuals gain “human privileges” without having to give up their hybrid side. They are however technically owned by the government.
Tango/Inferno
Tango is a blaze hybrid who throughout his life was always treated as dangerous because of his fire powers. When he turned 18 he decided to apply to the government to become a hero- to disprove the stereotype that nether born individuals are inherently dangerous. He is close friends with his colleagues: Impulse (Imp) and Skizz (Angel).
Jimmy/Cannary
Jimmy is an Avian (duh) and has refused to get his wings removed- and is reaping the consequences for it as he is finding it hard to get a job. He works at his brother's architecture company as the receptionist/assistant. He and his brothers, Joel and Grian, fight against the government's laws regarding hybrids but their reputation has been tarnished by the Government to make them look like villains. In costume he uses a feather dye to conceal his identity.
