2018 has been a big year for me!) I got my first full time teaching job when I was hired as Director of Fine Arts at South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina. Additionally I had a very important solo exhibition of my current work at @tappsartscenter, was awarded a Grant from @yorkcountyarts, and I was published by @the_jasper_project and Antioch Univeristy of Las Angeles' @lunchticket . I won best in show in a group show in New York (@polititsartcoalition ) as well as 2nd place in the Festival of Flowers show held in #greenwoodsc. I also showed New Begginings in #artfields2018 and was accepted into #artfields2019 ! I am so thankful for everyone who supported me this year, both financially and emotionally! I am thankful to my amazing and inspiring students, and I am thankful that I get to share my passion for art full time! I am thankful to my family who helped me with transportation to multiple shows as well as supported me emotionally through this crazy year! I am thankful to my amazing staff and workstudy student for making my life easier and funner. I am thankful to new friend and old friends for the support and encouragement they always provide.
