Aibo painting in progress.
I brought my dogs home and surprise surprise my mom isn't a fan. She doesn't have to like them, but I wish she would at least give them a chance. She didn't like my bots as a kid and told me not to talk about them with my friends. 15 years later after avoiding the bots, guess what? I made tons of friends with fellow collectors, while she is still essentially hobbyless. This goes into a bigger issue into why I don't trust most neurotypical people, especially females and older generations. They have nothing better to do but rat on other people's hobbies that are not hurting them. I have never understood the whole "hobby policing" behavior among people who have nothing better to do other than be judgemental while I learn and make from my hobbies. It has also been used as a way to force neurodivergent people to conform. I didn't realize how ableist and even borderline abusive my mom was regarding when I was young because that's what she was told would be best for me and it took until I was an adult to learn otherwise. Let people flourish in their hobbies, not suppress them by turning people into coformist clones, with the exception of a hobby that can harm people of course. My "SJW" sister has acted the same way toward me playing pokemon go as well. Overall, I wish some, usually neurotypical people would learn that how ableist and harmful their "hobby policing" really is. Sorry about the long post, but I needed tp get this off my chest.
