Oh my god. I stumbled onto a Whippet forum full of purebred elitists that are bashing dog sport people for purpose breeding dogs to be healthier and naturally inclined for the activity they love. Blaming us for all the “unwanted and dumped dogs [that] get thrown away like trash.”
There’s a reason those dogs sit in shelters. I don’t want a mentally unsound backyard-bred dog as a pet and I certainly wouldn’t do sports with it.
