I don't believe I've ever posted the only Fiona photo I edited from 2020 here, so here's my best girly. 😭 Man, we really need more cons, the amount of costumes I never take out or shoot is getting out of hand.

My Janey cosplay from last year!!

Although I turned to tumblr for advice on what Janey’s stingray club would be, I unfortunately never got the chance to make her jacket into the biker jacket of my dreams :( My sewing machine broke the night before the con and I had to rush to finish the whole vest on my friend’s mom’s machine.

Everything on the cosplay was handmade, and a lot of the details and assorted belts were scrounged up items I found in my closet, not a one-to-one replica. I did my makeup in the borderlands style (and discovered it looks great on me!), but could not bring myself to weather my actual clothing to match.

The vest is a dyed denim vest I had been about to donate. I raised the original hem to crop it, and sewed on the custom patch - made of felt and scraps of faux leather. The sherpa lining came from the sleeve of a thrifted sweater, and I LOVE how it came out!! It feels so badass to wear.

The wig was an ancient cheap halloween wig that had gotten sticky with fake blood, I basically had to cut out half the hair and base, resew patches of cloth for the base, brush and iron the incredibly knotted hair, and make wefts from the chopped hair to fill up the bald spot where I had to replace the base. and THEN i could start to style it.

(For anyone else considering refurbishing an ancient halloween wig covered in fake blood. Dont! It’s 100% not worth the effort!)

I’m very proud of her little tools strapped to her thigh- it’s half of a takeout container, with cut up straps of elastic suspenders holding actual mini screwdrivers and wrenches. Made the night before con, as well.

Overall, this cosplay was an absolute blast to make. I started by making her little accessories - her pins and necklace - but didn’t actually think I’d commit and make the whole outfit. and then suddenly I was spending days just working on this and nothing else.

Highly recommend! I went with two friends dressed as House & Wilson and we had an absolute blast 10/10.

Did my own zombie version of Mad Moxxi for Kumoricon since it fell on Halloween 🎃 that’s 4 versions of moxxi down. I never post my cosplay on this page, but I guess that just means I’m branching out😽💕 now all I need is a butch that will cosplay Timothy Lawrence for me🤞

Got my official Handsome Jack body pillow in today from Gearbox Loot today and now I feel like we need to re-do some of these shots with the actual official product 🤔
