Friend doesn't understand how I can't just "get over" having social anxiety and being afraid of ordering at a restaurant. Kinda want to cry right now.

Sometimes I just want to leave my school because I don’t feel like part of my department.

I feel like I have to be a straight A student in order to be loved by every single professor. I know a few professors who are actually supportive of me, but it would be nice if an entire department would actually make me feel like I belong. I know I’m not the most “hardcore serious” biology major, but isn’t my passion more important? 

When am I going to feel important to this fucking department?

When am I going to be recognized as someone who truly works hard and wants to be successful?

I just want to be remembered as Jerome Viloria, a driven biology major who sincerely wants to enable the movement of others.

What more does this school want from me?
