this is so random but bords with a reader who wears glasses is something i need, idk why but he seems like he would be so soft with them

a/n: as someone who wears glasses this idea is literally ahhhhh, here's a little headcanon.

Ok so you know how glasses like fog up, he'd be the type to like take them off of you and clean them for you whenever they do.

Or like when you'd be making out he'd take them off and you're like “bords baby i can’t see.” and he's like “no reason to have your eyes open while we make out.”

Try them on and be like “babe what if i get glasses?”

always try to relate to you even though he can't.

Gets jealous when you talk to owen about glasses problems.

He's like hmph I want to be a part of it.

Is always like my baby looks so cute with her glasses.

If you forget them at his place he will take them to wherever you are

Like once he walked into the middle of lecture and was like “babe you forgot your glasses at home.” and then apologized to the professor for interrupting.

“baby, you’ve gotta go to practice.” you say glancing at brendan who’s been waiting on thomas for the past twenty minutes. thomas had been clinging onto you all morning, which isn’t unusual for him. “c’mon, you just gotta go get practice over with and you’ll be back with me before you know it. maybe i’ll even stop by practice if you want.” his head perks up immediately, and he nods quickly at you. kissing his forehead you let him get ready.

brendan mouths a ‘thank you’ your way before heading out to wait on thomas. not long later your boyfriend walks back into the room to say his goodbyes. “i’ll see you soon baby, do good at practice for me, yeah?” he nods eagerly.

for the next hour or so you pick up some around your dorm before you decide to head to the boys practice. when you get there you see the boys sitting around, on a break you assume, you look around for thomas but don’t see him. you walk up to the group of boys, “hey pow, do you know where my boyfriend is?”

“yeah, he went to the bathroom, should be back soon.” he says nodding towards the door. you thank him quickly before walking towards the door to wait on thomas. not even two minutes later, you heard the door open and your boyfriend walked out.

“baby? what are you doing here?” he exclaims, pulling you into his arms and placing a soft kiss on your lips. “thought you might wanna see your favorite person ever.” you tease. laughing he kisses you again before leading you back to the group of laughing boys.

knowing they have to get back to it you hug him again, “okay love, not much longer but go kick ass for me.” he nods stepping back onto the ice. for the next forty minutes you watch the group, noticing that thomas was giving it his all. the coach even came over and mention it to you, joking that you should come by more often so he’d play like this all the time.

when practice ended he steps off the ice and walks your way, “ ‘m gonna go shower i’ll be back in fifteen okay?”

“if you hurry we can go back to my dorm and have a movie night.” with that he rushes to the locker room. you laugh it off before pulling your phone out to wait on him. just like he said, fifteen minutes later he’s back and placing a kiss on your lips.

“hi thomas.” you run your fingers through his wet hair, pulling back to admire him. the two of you stay like this for a few moments, just looking at each other. “what?” he asks with a grin. “nothing, i just think you’re so pretty.” you say adorning a smile.

“come on pretty, lets head to your dorm for that movie night, yeah?” he puts his arm around your waist tugging you closer to him as the two of you walk out of the building. on the way out, you see owen and kent leaving too. you wave at the pair, “bye guys, see you tomorrow.”

“have fun tonight..but not too much fun.” the two snicker. before you can respond, “yeah you boys have fun too.” thomas jokes at how close the two are.

twenty minutes later you’re unlocking your door and letting thomas into your room. “babe will you grab my laptop? you can choose the movie.” you call out before heading into the bathroom with a change of clothes. when you come out you see your boyfriend laying on the bed with your laptop beside him.

“whatcha pick out babe?”

“come look.”

shaking your head you walk towards him and see that he had your favorite movie pulled up. you get into the bed beside him, letting him pull you close and press play.

“thomas?” he hums in response, already engrossed in the movie.

“i love you.”

“i love you too baby.”

for the rest of the night you laid in his arms, accepting his warmth, before falling asleep that same way.
