Jing stares at Blake's ears for a moment, murmuring softly, "Are they real?" and reaching over to them hesitantly. Right before she touched them, she flinches her hand back, both hands flying to her headband; she stares at Blake with a wide-eyed and serious look for a few heartbeats before practically shoving the headband onto his head. "Double ears!"

He leans down to sniff her, one ear twitching in slight irritation at the question.

"as real as the big old sniffer on your face. ooi!"

As she jammed the ribboned headband onto his ears, his ears flattened out to accommodate the sudden intrusion.  Blake reached up to pat the accessory and adjust it more comfortably before grinning.  He reached down to vigorously ruffle the girl’s hair with two gloved hands himself.

"double ears and a mop top!"
