What weapon do you think a fusion between Lapis and Amethyst would have?
You mean canon Lapis and Amethyst? Oh boy I’m not sure! We don’t know for sure what Lapis’ weapon is, if she even has one, or if her wings / power over water is a weapon or just an ability, so I’m not sure! I’d love to see a fusion between them however, I think they’d have compatible personalities since both Amethyst and Lapis seem to have a prankster side (I always laugh when Lapis makes the farting sounds throughout Mayor Dewey’s speech in ‘Mirror Gem’).
But as for weapon, I really don’t know! Maybe a water whip or something.
Do you think that two gems can fuse in one kind of gem, and later they can fuse back again and fuse a new type of gem? Like how when Pearl changed her outfit, it also changed Opals design? What if a lot of time passed, and now she was so different that when fussing with Amethyst they would'nt make Opal, but a bit different type of fusion?
I think it’d have to be a massively significant change within a relationship- like if Jasper and Lapis were to make amends and fuse on positive terms for instance. But I’m thinking more the appearance of the fusion will shift less than the actual gem will change, although I suppose that’s possible too?
Torta is cake in spain Torta is like a sandwich in a scone
Ah well I know torta means cake in Spanish but I also know it refers to a savory-type of sandwich in Mexico (or associated with Mexico)
And, like, I can't speak to how it is in Mexico (I have been a few times but never ate tortas there) but in Southern California there's a lot of places (usually smaller family-owned places) that have tortas and they're, like, sandwiches on a particular type of bread. Its possible they're Americanized though. Considering SU is written in Southern California, I'd wager they were talking about that kind of torta, since that's the torta they'd likely be familiar with. They're similar enough to what Amethyst was eating
