Today I’ve had a negative experience... A strange story has happened to me. Strange - because normally such things don’t happen to me but to someone else. Today was going to be an X-day, which I was waiting for. I had an interview in Greven - it’s a suburb town of Münster. Actually it takes only 8 minutes to get there by train and I haven’t expected any difficulties. Just before going to the railway station I realised that my interview is actually in some other place - Reckenfeld, a little further. And if I would take a train to Reckenfeld, I would be a little late for the interview. But there were no time to think too much and I just decided to GO HOME, TAKE MY BIKE, GO TO GREVEN and finally to GO BY BIKE TO RECKENFELD. Oh yes, by the way, my interview was going to start in 30 minutes. I rushed home where I checked the way from Greven to Reckenfeld with the bike and hurried back to the railway station. I already knew which platform my train stays at and went directly there. I don’t know what was actually wrong (perhaps I should have looked at the electronic information at the platform), but in 15 minutes I started to think that this train is not as fast as it must be. In 30 minutes I understood that it was the wrong train - to Enschede, Holland. So I went off at the next station. As you can see from the picture, it was Borghorst... No people in the building of the railway station, no entrance into this building, no people at all, no ticket automats at the only platform... The wind is blowing and I have just one thin blouse on. But it was not the worst thing. I burst into tears and couldn’t stop crying. At that very moment the phone called. It was my interviewer. He was asking me where I am now. I said that I had left him a voice message a little earlier about my wrong train. He hadn’t heard it yet. I began to cry again. He said we can postpone this interview till Friday. That was very nice of him, but I think now I almost have no chance to get this place, because I proved that two of my characteristics mentioned in CV were true - punctuality and stress-resistance... Thanks to my friend Victoria who lives in this town I figured out when the next train back to Münster arrives and how I can buy a ticket.
