I am proud to be contributing to more help for #PuertoRico! #LasHijasDeLaCrisis were on the front lines during what I believe is the beginning of the change in the revolution on the island. They utilized their art to bring attention to the crisis and the peoples determination for change, and with what the people on the island were able to accomplish, they have secured their place in history. . . . @mredgardonyc in conjunction with the ladies put out out a call for #BoriquaArtists to celebrate and honor them and the people by turning the ladies into comic superheroes who are fighting alongside #LaBorinquena to end this madness the government is making our people endure! I volunteered to draw @Queridacarola and the scene of which the protest took place, in #ElViejoSanJuan, in order to help raise funds for their continued efforts through the #LaBorinquenaGrantProgram! There will be prints made and t-shirts sold of the final art and you can see the final art displayed in Puerto Rico so we can help raise funds for the people to continue to fight for the future of self determination of the island and people we all hold so dear to our hearts!
