I would like that you the tell the story becausa O Grove is called so.
Took me while to find an answer, that name is an old one, and Galician toponymy can be tricky. From what I know, O Grove is a castilianization of Ogrobe, which comes from Ocobre, a pre-roman name.
-BRE is very common in Galicia to refer to poblations (Barallobre, Sillobre, Limodre...), and OCO- refers to a cape.
[You're a cruel and evil person for asking about the toponymy of a place, XD]
