I found this amazing Belgian artist, Michaël Borremans, in a book I that borrowed from the library. It had a selection of various ways of painting people and his work just mesmerized me. I don't know if it is the fact that it looks like it belongs in another century or the moods the colour brings, or all of it together! Way impressed and I will keep looking for updates on his work.
