It'll always baffle me how in Uprising they messed up most things to the point where it either feels lazy, stupid or boring
But when it comes to the goddamn newmann content it seems like they just locked in and made something about them that isn't nearly perfect, but def an enjoyable (and dare I say best) part of the entire movie
Imagine fucking up a movie as badly as Uprising did while also giving us some genuinely great doomed yaoi content
(That's why it's lowkey hard to ignore Uprising as a massive newmann fan, I want to ignore it but the content of them in it is genuinely something you can work with and analyze and kind of enjoy)
(Also it makes me so mad how bad this movie is since it genuinely could have been so much better even if you don't change most things in it)
