Cody is a quiet and logical introvert who works hard and keeps to himself, and struggles to show emotion. Hes extremely loyal.
Jayce (black hair) is a passionate and ambitious protagonist figure who wants a lot of things in life and is incredibly expressive.
Jayce was Codys first friend, and Cody was willing to follow him to the ends of the earth to make sure they could live happily, enamoured by his personality. However, this gets him into him into hot water when Jayce starts getting hunted down by the towns council and suffers a traumatic injury in prison, leading to by the time Cody gets him out, finding a changed person. Jayce becomes focused on nothing but revenge, a dangerous and more volatile person than he was before, and even worse, he gets mixed up in the wrong crowd and struggles to tell Cody what happened.
