For my shoot plan, I intend to take influence from the two photographers, that I have researched - Slinkachu & Michael Bosanko.
For my Speed shoot, I intend to take a lot of inspiration from the way Bosanko created his shoots. I would like to experiment with creating shapes, words, animals, and other interesting shots. To do this I will shoot at different times of the day; when the sun is setting, so there is still some natural light, and when it is completely dark. For this part of my speed shoot, I would like to experiment with sparklers, torches, glow sticks, and also combine one or two of my objects to create interesting shots. I also would like to shoot, light trails - to do this, I will use a tripod and my camera, and photograph cars driving up and down the street, because I live in a busy area of town, I think that this will be easy for me to accomplish.
For my Space shoot, I am going to take inspiration from Slinkachu, and try to create shots, that are taken out of context and given their own story which is completely different to the reality that is around the subject. To do this shoot, I will shoot when there is a lot of natural light around me. Although I won't have the time to go into the depth of creating small characters like Slinkachu did, I would like to experiment by either using small LEGO characters, or failing that, small toy dolls and placing them in different scenarios around my neighbourhood. I would like to place them in gardens, on walls, in the park, in puddles, and anywhere else I feel that could create a humorous and interesting image. To do this shoot, I will use a shallow depth of field, that only focuses on the subject and a small part of the surrounding, completely ignoring the background, and making the character seem life sized. And then take an image showing the whole scene. I am looking forward to experimenting with this shoot, as I have never done anything like this before.
