HC's on boschlow style choices?

HOW DID I FORGET TO ANSWER THIS.

I headcanon that Boscha's family financial situation isnt doing too well (her mom being rivals with Odalia does that unfortunately) so a lot of her clothes are hand-me-downs from her mom. She got mom style clothing but she makes it work. She'd crop them herself and find some way to style them. Generally she prefers clothes that are feminine, and shows off her legs like skinny jeans or just shorts. Ironically she does get cold easily so she prefers long-sleeves to warm up lol.

She also likes very bright and bold clothing. Her favorite colors being pinks (obviously), yellows, light blue (to compliment her eyes), oranges, and purples.

Willow on the other hand prefers to show off her arms (she got a tattoo and she WILL show it!). She prefers more earth-toned colors outside of her sportswear. Colors such as navy, olive green, browns, tan, and red-oranges to yellow if she's feeling bold! But I think she would avoid purple/lavender. Willow also loves to accessorize. She has an entire drawer full of hairpins, headbands, bracelets, and earrings, the vast majority being gifts from friends and her dads.

Sometimes she would wear contact lenses so she can put on a different pair of (non-prescription) glasses.

All of her shoes have heels except for sportswear because she is now the shortest in the group ever since Gus got a growth spurt.

Outside of floral and plant like designs I think she would also like plaid patterns and ripped denim. Whether she decides to go for a masc or fem style just depends on her mood.

Not to make Knights of Guinevere all about the Owl House, but given that Gwen is voiced by Boscha’s VA, and Frankie is a strong woman obsessed with her, one can see KoG as just a really weird high production value Boschalow Sci Fi Princess X Knight AU

You see, I had this exact theory in the Boschlow server! (just kidding)

But in all seriousness there was some deep part of me that felt like KoG was one of Dana's TOH AUs that she repurposed into a new story. (She mentioned she does this on twitter and bluesky so I was immediately sus of Andie and Frankie because I was like hm... What awfully familiar character designs. Especially since Andie seems to be very cranky and blunt and Frankie is very empathetic and go with the flow.)

Maybe it was just the boschlow friendship we missed out on because TOH was cut short!

I love that Eden's working on it though. I will find a way to steal a voice line and make it Boscha speaking I promis...

Do you have any fun headcanons for Boscha and Willow (for example, in terms of witch biology or character quirks)?

I have soo many silly headcanons but my silliest one for Boscha is definitely the fact that she's (the boiling isles equivalent of) Filipino.

i have a stupid headcanon where the Philippines is in an area where the separation between the demon realm and the human realm is thin. Hence why there's a lot of mythological creatures and folklore here! One notable piece of folklore is that anyone who has a third eye can see these creatures and those who have already died. I just think it would fit Boscha's motif, being leader of the Banshees and all that.

My silly Willow headcanon on the other hand is that when she was younger, she loved hosting tea parties and pretending to be a butler. She would go around the house cleaning and talking in the most outlandish british accent. Sometimes she would give her dads coffee pretending it was tea. You could blame Amity for it... But if you asked either of them when they're older they would claim the other one started it. But it stays unmentioned between them.

Also she would give her dads handmade coupons for stuff like chores, hugs, favors. Expires never of course. They still have some of them lying around in their drawers. Gilbert knows it'll be the FUNNIEST thing when he pulls one of them out on her when she's older.

you ever think Boscha would have nightmares and panic attacks remembering days she bullied Willow?

Hot take but tbh I don't think so bc it implies that she was the one traumatized by it. Instead I think sometimes she just lies awake at night regretting it very deeply. Maybe she wishes it DID give her nightmares and panic attacks, so it was easier to forgive herself, or to prove that she really isn't that person anymore.

Maybe she tries to forgive her younger self for not knowing any better (i HC she goes to therapy), or wondering if it's even possible to detach herself from her past. At the very least, she's trying to accept that her actions then had consequences she can feel even up til now, and are still affecting people she sees every day.

I think she has nightmares about the weirdmaggedon and losing her friends to the collector for a period of time though.

Prompt idea where Boscha and Willow get into a a big fight and refuse to talk and interact and even acknowledge each other’s existence and their palisman decide to intervene and swap owners, refusing to go back to their actual owner until the issue is resolved. Whenever they get sent with their original owner they switch back in increasingly ridiculous ways.

Now all I can think of is post “I Was a Teenage Abomination”. It’s the next day. Boscha’s thought up the perfect abomination based insult, the best she’s made in years, she’s ready to cut Willow deep to the core.

And then that girl has the audacity to show up the next day in green-

I'm not sure if you've ever seen the movie Bottoms (if not, it's really funny and I recommend it), but there's a scene where a bunch of girls are fighting each other, and at some point one of them gets pinned to the floor by her crush, and just lays there smiling. The girl even calls her out, "Fight back, PJ. Stop smiling, I'm kicking your ass"

And I imagined that scene as Boschlow (Boscha being the one pinned down) lol

I HAVE seen bottoms and YES I did imagine that scene as them but honestly that whole movie could be them

Never was the biggest Falsettos fan but your AU is super cute and got me to relisten to my favorite songs again. Any ideas for who plays the other characters in the play for this au?

I'm gonna be honest with you I think the characters in Falsettos are too insane to be played by the TOH cast. And the casting is something I haven't rlly put much thought in for the longest time bc back when I initially thought of this AU, Hunter wasn't even revealed yet! That being said, whenever I put them in musical AUs I tend to imagine its the characters themselves just acting in a play, so if I had to choose now:

(I doodled this in school during class so sorry if the characters dont look right, I didn't have reference lol)

As for the less obvious casting choices.

- Hunter is Trina for no other reason than I think he is the most malewife in the cast.

- Skara and Hunter get together because they are my favourite rarepair <3 (that I kinda started) and also because Skara being the one to basically know everything about everyone, especially since Boscha is her first client, feels right.

- The collector is Jason because they're a very troubled kid and I see a lot of similarities between Boscha and Collie, which plays into Jason not wanting to he like Marvin. And also he's very idealistic and clever, while also learning to care about them by the end of the play.

- Gus and Matt are Charlotte and Cordelia respectively because Gus being Willow's doc feels right and also Matt being a caterer but sucking at cooking is loser behaviour and hes a loser /affectionate.

Anyways I love this musical and its complicated relationships between the characters and themes of growth and forgiveness and making friends and growing up for both the kid and the adults. Also very fond of how it implements Jewish themes without ever making religion and homosexuality "clash". They're all just one big weird family and I love that.
