Very mild. I used a the smallest amount as my friend has fine wavy mid length hair. I took the product and rubbed it between my hands and then through his hair starting at the front. I pulled the product through with my fingers and hair actually stated coming out in my hands! That made me a bit Leary 😲 As the product started to dry down and very quickly I might add his hair became super shiny and stiff as a board where I applied the wax. I would suggest this for shorter hair styles. It's actually a good soft wax I just didn't have the proper hair type per say. And they claim it's for all hair types.
