Portrait
A portrait is a paining, drawing or photograph of a person, particularly that focus on the head and shoulders. I will be practicing photographic portraits.
Boss Project
The aim of this project is to produce two images of a 'boss'.
I began looking at the Headshot London website, in the section 'Portrait Photographers'. There is piece of writing that highlights two main types of portrait photography.
www.headshotlondon.co.uk/portrait-photography
'There are two types of portrait sessions that we create. The ‘studio’ shot, usually shot on a seamless backdrop with and without props and the ‘environmental’ portrait, placing the sitter in their surroundings. These can be so diverse that you may find many variations in a single session.'
I want my images to be on location, in the environment that the subject works in. The aim of this project is to produce two images of a 'boss'.
