Your morning inspiration is being brought to you by @bosschicksempower B.O.S.S.CHICKS COMMANDMENT #4: "Pray For God-given Ideas, Not Good Ideas" “For His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. His ways are different than our ways.” (Isiah 55:8) At first glance, you may be thinking “what do God’s thoughts have to do with God given ideas?” Simple explanation: A synonym for “idea” is “thought.” Thus, when we connect to God and learn to hear His voice, He can impart to us “creative ideas and witty inventions” that the world has never seen. In fact, His word even tells us that God’s Spirit, which resides in us, is “…[filled] with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft (Exodus 31: 6). In other words, there is an element of God within each of us that will cause us to prosper. However, it is not until we get connected to Him that these “creative ideas’ (i.e. knowledge/skills) become apparent and accessible. Think of it like this: We are a computer and God is the battery. No matter how many gigabytes (i.e. here information/know-how/skills/talents/ideas) are in the computer, it does not work without a charged up battery. The battery is the power that allows the computer to operate. In the same way, God who is all-powerful, all-knowing is our power source and provides the necessary unction for our ideas to function.
