i don't know how well i can explain it but Kale's fight in Hi-Fi Rush is probably my favorite boss fight in a game period, having this smug ass ceo suffer from a literal skill issue as he has a bajillion resources to help himself while you're running almost entirely on the power of friendship and this bunch of scrap i found is both hype and hilarious also trent screaming his lungs out may or may not affect the overall vibe but thats unrelated

An introduction to The Crimson Knight of Terraria, my first proper ongoing work with two chapters done!

Vallarian is a Lord Knight —and the youngest of them all— of the Crimson Swords. An Order clad in the fearsome exterior of bone-wearing, flesh-manipulating superhumans, and yet utterly devoted to the world’s continued prosperity. Sent to the stray, shattered island of Felinden, Vallarian has a task; cleanse the deserted land of all it’s unearthly evils and pave the way for it’s renewed habitation again.

But Felinden is not what it seems to be. Though looking innocent and idyllic at first glance, deeper forays prove that the island is far, far more horrifying than the worst tales the Red Grandmaster told Vallarian. Worse, Vallarian has a creeping suspicion that Felinden is the island of the Prophecy of Rending. According to it, world-devouring monsters shall pour out from an island far off into the oceans and destroy all humanity, unless a hero arrives to stop this.

With the clock ticking and the island close to bursting out primordial civilization-destroying horrors, Vallarian has the most daunting task ever demanded of a Lord Crimson Knight on his hands. Scour the island for it’s loot and treasures, unravel ancient secrets long lost, build safe havens for the unlikely companions and travelers to arrive at Vallarian’s doorstep, and slay whatever monster of the day he encounters.

Otherwise, Vallarian will lose everything he built up over his age. His life, his rank, his comrades, his home city, and his uncle and only family far away in a distant land, eagerly awaiting his return.

A fanfiction story inspired by my playthrough with Terraria’s Calamity mod, with further RPG mechanics added on top to it. My first serious foray into fanfiction, so hopefully you enjoy!

As the four matches of Round 6 begin, we lie in great anticipation of our bossfights' appearances in just seven days. Voted to the very top during the submission phase, with a whopping 349 votes between just the four of them, they appear to be forces to be reckoned with-- but how much of that is true universal support, and how much is merely a small fandom constantly going on anon to hype them up? Will Damon the Main Blur live up to his propaganda? Will the three long-haired white men from Seattle stand up to the almighty survivors who have made it five rounds without error? Will any of these guys even survive past their first polls?

Only time will tell...
