I’m so proud of the Boston protesters.
Watching MSNBC. The Nazis are having trouble getting into their own 'rally' while counter protestors are screaming at them to smile for their exit interviews at work on Monday. You're doing amazing, sweeties. 🙌🙌
Mutuals:
Do I have any mutuals in or around boston who want to start coming to various protests with me? I want to assemble a group! My friends & I are all students & it's hard getting people together!
I have the privilege to say I'm tired of seeing these riots then completely shutting it out, but I also have the privilege to stand up for what's right and to exploit the corruptness within the justice and police system. Not all cops are corrupt, and I understand that good cops risk a lot when they report a corrupt cop, but every cop becomes corrupt and evil when they ignore the rights of the citizens they swore to protect. It's exhausting seeing a new person, black or white, Muslim or Christian, gay or transgendered getting killed once again by a police man when there were many outlets they could have taken to avoid the irreversible action; death. I hope that our country starts changing for the better, but that won't happen until the justice system and police system are changed and improved.
Yesterday I was lost walking in Boston. I was trying to find a particular street that would get me back on track, and I found myself amid a massive crowd. As someone who is claustrophobic, I started to panic.
Then I heard a man speak through a megaphone: "Hands up!"
and I lifted my head and actually observed what I had just walked into.
Hundreds of protesters raised their arms up and yelled back, "DON'T SHOOT".
Seeing all the protests still going on is so great I love it. Keep it going!
