The super awesome Felicia Day!!!

I forgot I had the blue sash to wear when we got in (it was a mad day, and I’ll leave it at that for this post)--I also got to go to her panel Sunday, and that was great fun!

My last post about this year’s Boston Comic Con, and overall, I had a blast!

It was the first year at a new venue, and it definitely afforded more space, and I had no issue getting into the panels I wanted to see (it was cool to go to one of the smaller panels not on the main stage area and still have it in an incredibly spacious room).

Even with the new bigger venue, Saturday was mad--it was absolutely crowded and almost impossible to get to some areas, especially quickly. I badly misjudged timing (and also had to finish my sister’s dress that morning--I was punching holes and putting in the grommets for the lacing that morning, in addition to pinning the hem...I was teaching her how to finish the hem with stitch witchery, lol, which I actually like for hems in general). And all this left us late and rushing to the photo op my sister and I had with @thisfeliciaday . We made it---barely!

I also got to meet up with some awesome Tumblr/met at BCC/through LotRO friends @asgardian--angels, @headinfantasy, and @avoyagetoarcturus.

Queue much looking for this “cosplay photo park” and each other as we separated, on purpose sometimes and sometimes not, and the absolute fastest I have ever burnt through the battery on my phone with text messages. :D

I also did my Karl Urban photo op later that day, and then attending the first part of the cosplay contest and had to leave before it was over, but not before I got to see @headinfantasy ‘s awesome Arwen performance.

Sunday was my panel and shopping day. I managed to get to three panels--Karl Urban’s (he’s really awesome at accents, and I wish they’d had enough time to get through all of us queued up so I could ask him to try a Bostonian accent), Felicia Day (I got to ask her what character in the Wheel of Time she would like to play if they did a show/movie of it--Egwene!), and of course, John Barrowman (a panel that was virtually non-stop laughter from start to finish, and the finish being his rendition of the Copacabana (some accidental spoilers...and other wonderful stuff)).
