I’ve been featured in Boston Voyager Magazine! ❤️🎉 @bostonvoyager ✨Shana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today✨ It all started with a little kit I got for the holidays. The kit had jewelry findings and six large safety pins. I had no idea what I was doing at first or even had the slightest clue on how to make jewelry but I decided to get a little creative. I took some colorful wire and beads with stars on them and began wrapping them around the pins. My first design, Safety Pin Earrings, was created. Moving forward, I wanted to stand out instead of fit in. I would look for everyday objects, for example, LEGOS, Barbie Doll Shoes, Guitar Picks, etc., and I would think of how I could use them in my designs. It’s been over 12 years since I started making jewelry. As cheesy as it sounds, I honestly don’t know who I’d be right now if jewelry design wasn’t in my life.
