oh hey!!! ive heard of rpg maker before, ive been think abt using it lmao. do you do all the art in-program, or can you port in art youve done in, say, photoshop?

howdy! it’s pretty cool- it runs entirely on 32 x 32 px tiles. Each room is made up of a tileset which are pages of tiles with different properties. There’s floor and wall tiles, animated tiles, sprite tiles, and object tiles, they all have different rules and properties but the size is always the same. All the tiles are loaded in with pngs, so that transparencies between layers like object and floors can happen. i’ve made all the tiles for the game in photoshop! here’s one of my tilesets I’ve been working on here:

you can custom create the character sprites as well, the engine will animate them for you as long as you layout the sprites in a specific way in the png file you import

it’s a lot of learning at first but dang is it worth it! you get some pretty awesome results

HELLO I AM IN NEED OF HELP FINDING THE TITLE AND AUTHOR OF A FIC

it’s a hunger games finnick/annie fic where they grow up together and i distinctly remember in the first chapter that finnick is running away from some girls when he bumps into annie

they have some sort of falling out before annie is reaped but make up on the way to the capital or at the capital? and i THINK it ends with the end of annie’s games but i’m not too sure

i know for a fact this fic has been deleted tho but pls if anyone remembers this fic PLEASE I AM BEGGING PLEASE HELP

does anyone else remember pjo fics on ffnet back in 2010-2011 when every other fic was a songfic where annabeth had a double-life as taylor swift and wrote all these songs about percy or was that a fever dream
