im so in love with the universe that tfOne set up because its so interesting thinking about how the war would progress from that starting point. Cybertron is already factioned when assumedly the entire population is still living in hiding from the Quintessons.

I dont think its unreasonable to think that there are more underground cities than just Iacon, it's a huge planet after all. And when optimus and the civilians return to the surface, they have to first fight off the quintessons before the Decepticons will even show up
