He lovesssss baseball but used to be too scared to play out of fear of have his screen get hit and cracked. He eventually got over this and started playing on a recreational team :] also 70% of the time when he's zoned out, he's probably tuned into a baseball game broadcast and secretly watching it in his mind.

17. What is something annoying about your OC? Do they chew with their mouth open? Are they a know-it-all? Are they too oblivious for their own good?

Imma do this one for Quentin, because he's easy to pick on (affectionate). He's still in his "I'm a very grown up adult, can't you tell how mature I am by how sarcastic I am and how I refuse to do anything fun" phase of being a teenager. I'd probably find his snarkyness and complete refusal to participate in anything he finds uncool a bit annoying, but understand it. He's also a know-it-all, but it's slightly earned, since he is very smart. He and Phoenix get into a lot of childish fights about it, since they're usually both right, but talking about different things, and both are too stubborn to admit defeat.

20. What makes your OC special? Why are they important or different ? What makes them a particularly wonderful and/or evil character?

Oooo! Raster in terms of just, pure mechanics within the writing, is here to help demonstrate that by changing, growing, or overcoming something, you don't have to "lose" yourself somehow. He's a sweet guy, caring, would go the extra mile for anyone, but cannot but his foot down or enforce his boundaries. Part of him thinks that if he does this, he'll become a mean person, or a hard person, or something he doesn't like or want to be, so he just suffers it instead and tells himself its a good thing-- that he's being charitable and nice by letting people walk all over him. His little arc is meant to go hand in hand with the other two main protags-- each one's about growing and changing.

In terms of a more personable sense, he's charismatic and good at understanding people, which is why he works a people-facing job. He's basically an entertainment organizer, but for the whole city (until he gets fired). Something like... someone who would organize parades, or farmers markets, but he's doing it all the time. He's a community guy (until some of that community dumps him out the door). A lot of crimes he's never even thought were possible have been pinned on his back, making him a high value target for many people, and an anxious wreck of nuts and bolts.

💓 BEATING HEART - what gets their heart racing?

In a positive way, he loves the thrill of hacking into things he shouldn't just to say he did, especially to prove his competence. In a negative way, getting caught and being chased horrifies him, which is sometimes what follows the result of his hacks.

🌪️ TORNADO - what is the biggest change you’ve ever made to them? how have they changed from their original version?

He used to be human! He was a human in a very different sci-fi story that was more of a space opera that involved a lot of spaceship travel. He was the main character and a whole lot more kind. He is now a robot character with a mean streak living in a big sci-fi city.

⚙️ GEAR - what are your ocs thoughts on science & art? which do they give more importance to? how much value do they place on each?

Quen's big into computer science and a big lover of certain fashion movements, though he himself wouldn't probably call them art or fashion. He loves both, but is selective about what he cares about-- chemistry is boring to him compared to computer science, and paintings are dull compared to clothes and fashion.

🪞 (this one might not show up like whatever emoji it is, bc for me its just a box ksdjfhdf) How does your OC perceive themself? Do they believe themself to be attractive, unattractive, or average? Does their view of themself affect their self-esteem, or are they unbothered by their physical appearance? (If your OC does have things they’re confident or insecure about, what are they?)

Raster really likes how he looks, but it can be easy to sow seeds of doubt in him if you're someone he trusts or looks up to by knocking or even seeming doubtful of how he chooses to style himself. He's concerned about presenting himself in a 'wrong' way to people who he looks up to-- finding him annoying, irresponsible, sloppy, etc. He'll fret over it if he thinks he's being seen that way. Otherwise, outside opinions don't bother him much.

🦵 Are your OC’s arms and legs strong, weak, or average? Why? Do they have any common mannerisms that involve their limbs, such as tapping their foot or fiddling with their fingers?

He's decently strong! His arms are pretty thin since they're robotic, but he's got enough strength to easily lift Phoenix (who's average nine year old sized). Same goes with his legs. He plays baseball in his spare time and has a decent swing and throw. He'll idle tap his foot or drum a quiet beat out on his thigh with his fingers. When he's anxious, he instantly goes toward fiddling with his hands.

👖 What type of clothing does your OC generally wear? Why? Do they have any “signature” accessories?

He likes having semi-classy shoes and subtly fun patterned shirts or socks! He's rarely seen without a jacket and his cyan-ish one is usually what he's always seen it. He bought it awhile back and it became his favorite piece. He also tends toward pants, but you'll find him in shorts on hot days or basketball shorts to relax on his rare lazy days at home.
