The results of my dyeing efforts - a lengthy process involving noxious substances.
Linen yarn, tencel yarn dyed with rose petals
I dyed a lot of yarn today in a brew concocted from dried rose petals - it has required three days preparation to get to this point and has an unknown outcome. In all probability I will end up with a brown yarn! But I like the witch in the kitchen stuff.
Dried rose petals, alum, oak gall and soda.
Boiling up evil conker cases to see what dye might result. Things got steamy......
Horse chestnut. Water. Aluminium preserving pan.
