Microsoft readies Python, Java support for its bot-building framework Two years ago at its Build developer conference, Microsoft made a big push for its bot development tools and the idea of "conversation as a service." Since then, things have gone a bit quiet. ... Latest news

After a long day of school, and A1 Electronics with our vivacious group, we seek out the answers to our previous questions. How big should our motor be? What size should our robot be in proportion? We determined that we should revise our ideas for our bot further, so that we may proportion mass and size. In our discussion the concept of inertia comes up, and we hypothesize that a heavier motor may help during the Sumo fight. To elaborate, a greater mass for our bot, Mike Wazowski, would make Mike Wazowski more willing to rest (and thus harder to push), and more willing to move forward as well (when doing the pushing). The issue of our weight limit then comes into our discussion, and we must continue to brainstorm. What is an axle? Mr.Song's previous graduating physics student of 2013, Austin Bonilla, answers this to be what connects the two wheels of our robot. How do we build a robot? Austin Bonilla elaborates that: "It's like building a wooden box... For the front wedge part some people used a dustpan. Batteries with low resistance and high amperes from Canadian Tire are better quality."
The Servo I built @michaelpoe needed a couple repairs... instead, he got a massive f'ing upgrade. Before, he was the Decepticon known as Dick Servo... now, he is Dickamus Prime.
The completed "Princess Servo". Adorned with a feather boa and a tiara (not pictured), as well as a digital photo player (currently full of rainbows, unicorns, and hearts, but replace as you like). She will also be for sale at Penguicon this weekend.
