i do gotta say i didn’t get the same uncanny valley effect seeing the lion king as most people seem to... i did think it looked kinda off in trailers but seeing it in theaters it just didn’t have that effect with me and I didn’t find the expressions as awkward or hard to read as most people were saying (low expectations maybe). looked fine, about the same as the jungle book.
