The main concept behind the collection is to give a new life to worn out Kanthas. The collection Heartfelt Stitches gives a new life to old Kantha, upcyling this already recycled product as an approach towards sustainable fashion. “Heartfelt Stitches” allow the customers more time with the traditional Kantha material while keeping them warm with an individual story.
Heartfelt Stitches is a collection of outerwear designed to reduce the need to consume. Two-side wearable wraps, capes and coats are made from collected timeworn kanthas. Minimum wastage of materials and slow fashion concept were in focus during designing of the garments. Simple cut and oversized patterns have been introduced to bring back the tradition of homemade clothing where imperfection is a part of beauty.
