Daisy, truth be told, was not a fan of human festivals, and the only way he ever attended them was from far away, with a pair of binoculars and a bag of popcorn.

This time was no different: he sat alone on the cliff, just outside of the cave exit, and studied the people at a distance, giggling sometimes to himself. Maybe he would come down later to rob a few unsuspecting food vendors, but for now he was more than content to be alone.

...Till he wasn’t.

The flower raised a brow, looking up at the stranger nearby. Well, that is new...

“Buddy, that seat is taken. If you want to peoplewatch, find another spot for yourself.”

It was weird for Snowdin to be so silent. It never was a particularly noisy, crowded one, granted, but seeing the streets completely empty, with the only sign of life other than him being the monsters peeking from inside their homes, quick to close the courtains as soon as he looked up at them

Despite the fact that he still tried to sound optimistic and cheerful while Sans wsa still around - and wondering where he disappeared, for the matter! - Papyrus couldn’t hide the fact that he was feeling...

         ...scared? No, absolutely not! A future royal guard never gets scared!

Unsafe, maybe? Just a little bit.  He noticed some dust around the woods, after all, and that human didn’t seem particularly keen to solve his puzzles. Which... was rude, of course, but maybe it meant the human had other things to think about? His brother sure didn’t seem calm at all either, so...!

...Papyrus sighed lightly, shaking his head.  It was alright. A single human couldn’t really do anything bad! Perhaps they just needed a moment to talk it out. They must’ve been intimidated by his presence, no doubt about it!

Chara gives chocolate to Flowey

He takes it, nibbling on the bar. This is not his Chara, but seeing the alternatives hits as hard as meeting the real deal once again. It still tugs onto that particular string inside that makes him feel sad, regretful... and just a little bit lonely.

At least with this copy of his lost sibling he can mumble a quiet “...Thanks.”
