God I remember that I stopped writing some haikaveh fics halfway bec twitter was a bitch to write in.

I literally have a haikaveh “kaveh is depressed and starts drawing on his arms to cope” fic that I stopped half way and a “corpse bride au” fic that I just vomitted out trying to figure out how it works.

I love haikaveh, those are my parents right there!!!! Anyways I should rewatch corpse bride so I can get that fic straightened out and shipped out to AO3.

The first thing Alhaitham does after he gets his first paycheck is to bring home a ratty ass grey rug. Kaveh gives it a whole 6 seconds of scrutiny—(far more than that thing deserves, really)—before turning to Alhaitham with an unimpressed: “Get rid of it.” The culprit raises a questioning eyebrow, ZERO trace of remorse in his eyes, as if Kaveh’s the one being unreasonable here. “Are you disregarding my first taste of financial freedom?” “Of course not!” Kaveh’s PR brain answers first, then he remembers that this is Alhaitham and he doesn’t need to save face in front of him. “No, actually, yes I am. Because this is my house, and your tastes are clearly shit."

Alhaitham moves in. Kaveh regrets everything. It's a trying process.
