Honestly it was the most unrealistic thing about the entire movie.
i know! they kept showing them too. like look at this woman she’s running in heels!! nothing can stop her!! her own feet would stop her, not to mention all that damn grass and she didn’t once get stuck.
i would kind of be surprised if they didn't do a 3rd season, but the same time i wouldn't be (that makes no sense, i know). it's just, they've been plastering akura-oh's face on a lot of promo pics and posters, but we haven't actually seen akura-oh in action. there's a lot of pieces that have come into play that could lead to a 3rd season, but at the same time, for shoujo shows like this, it's rare. i was shocked we got a 2nd. i'm kinda crossing my fingers for a 3rd season in the fall...
Yes, that’s a good point that you’ve made! It would feel rather incomplete and odd if they did not delve into Akura-Ou’s backstory after going such lengths to introduce him and Yatori in the season. There has already been a foreshadow in season 2 with the scene of past cursed Tomoe meeting Mikage for the first time, so it is plausible that the producers will push for a season 3 to explain such backstory, though that depends on how popular/successful the anime is in the long run. Of course, another possibility is that the anime may stray from the manga and do its own thing in the interest of time. At this point, we’ll just have to wait and see the rest of season 2 to get a better gauge of the anime’s future or wait for announcements. :x
