Part 2 of my yearly Reference Sheets remakes!! This time it's Bottom Fall's turn and boy do I have things to say!!
Bottom Fall actually has a mUch bigger cast than just these two... hell, Isabell isn't even that relevant in comparison to literally everyone else- Buuut she is one I've already shared, so I guess she gotta be included in the remakes now... lucky bastard...
And lucky bastard INDEED because this year was a HUGE UPGRADE FOR HER!! VEery proud of the result.
Perhaps I'll share someone else throughout the year... But for a complete cast reference sheet, I'm afraid we'll have to wait next year... You'll just have to use some pieces scattered around the place for now! Opsie!
Haven: Oh Haven, my perfect child... Every year I grow closer to you. And to think how a single life event got us even closer... There weren't many changes on their part, only had a stroke seeing their old gray scale..! I feel like next year I'll still complain about it, but HEY looks better now! I'm also really happy with the boots, gave them a more boots look. Which is actually very important to me! I also decided to not make two references unlike last year (I had made two drawings, one for each outfit, winter and summer), but to instead focus on this middle-ground look that is honestly my favorite. I love that hoodie, but it's sad to hide their hair under that beanie...
Isabell: I have SO MUCH TO SAY. This is one of those rare Isabell spotlight moments. Oh the absolute UPGRADE that is this design. Ever since I first thought of her, Isabell was always meant to have this body type. The only reason I never gave it to her sooner was because I was a pussy! And also because I couldn't draw it that well- But now things are different. I have improved, I am in my defensive-towards-own-characters era, and I get to make her look HOWEVER SHE WANTS TO. Maaaaan- This look says so much more about her. Asocial, non-caring, a brutal honesty menace. Yep. Just how I like her :) Her sweater is still meant to change look at random, I never really came up with an official design for it... buut I did randomly doodle a pattern like this once and I was like "yeah, this one's nice", so I guess I'll go with that one for now.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this sheet. And if I have to be honest, with this story as a whole. I think I should focus on it more, dare more with it... I tried once, but I didn't have any planning behind me so that went bad- But now? I got clearer ideas, a whole storyline in mind, events that connect easily... It works nicely. Perhaps I should just sit my ass down and work on actually getting it out of my head... I have so much to show.
