Bybi Beauty Prime Time
The Clean Beauty Co girls have created another lovely new product. I’m such a fan of what these girls are doing - they really have got a great understanding of the power of plants!
The new product is called Prime Time and it’s a gentle face polish which is great for exfoliating all skin types.
Benefits include
preparing skin to absorb nutrients from other skincare
power ingredients allantoin, apple and pineapple acid help to gently slough away dead skin
it smells amazing *honestly it smells like apples - very fresh!
Vegan Friendly / Natural / Cruelty Free
The product applies initial a bit like a thick creamy slightly sticky face serum which then melts into the skin gently releasing lots of tiny sugary type granules. This entire mixture then turns into a milky consistency which is when the smell really bursts out. Skin is left feeling fresh, clean and smoother than before. I have to say the smell of this alone makes me want to use it again and again! It’s also great to know that the ingredients are ALL natural and great for your skin : )
All in all - another win! I’m so excited to see what else these two come up with!

Boucleme Curl Cream
On part of my journey to discover more natural organic and holistic brands I have been introduced to Boucleme. Their range of hair care products use plant derived ingredients, they don’t test on animals and they also care about the environment using all recyclable packaging with an eco cert! What’s not to love?
I tried out their Curl Creme on myself and my friend Sara to see what the results were! I have naturally wavy hair which goes quite frizzy if I don’t use any products on it and my friend Sara has naturally very curly hair!
The first thing you should know about this cream is - if you don’t have particularly naturally curly hair *like myself - it’s more of a wavey hair* less is more! I used quite a lot but you really only need a small amount (I’d say half of the amount shown in the photo above!)
Apply it to clean wet hair and style as usual.
I just blow dried my hair and brushed it out and the curl cream gave definition and a really pretty wave to my hair.
Sara has much curlier hair than myself! Here’s her verdict :
“I have naturally curly fine hair and have been trying this serum for a few weeks now. I apply it to wet hair straight out of the shower. I brush my hair afterwards.
I have found it to be better than other serums I have tried, especially silicone based serums. On its own it does have a subtle, soft hold. As this is not my preference I tend to use my own mousse as well to help tame and give more definition to my curls. Over the time I've used it it does seem to have made my hair softer and less dry as well.
I noted the difference when I did not use it over a weekend my hair was drier and frizzier. I do seem to need at least three compresses of the product for my hair. Someone with thicker or longer hair may need more.
The photos are my hair when wet after product application and brushing, and of my hair when dry using only the product.”
Before & After :
So there you have it! A great product for naturally curly hair! It smelt fantastic and I would definitely look into other products in the range! To find out more about Boucleme check out their website here :

IZ Beauty - Deco It Nail Decals
I’m a huge fan of nail products that work quickly to give fun effects. I’ve tried my fair share of nail decals over the years but had never heard of IZ Beauty “Deco It” decals until recently. They have a HUGE range of designs which I absolutely love. They are effectively more of a “sticker” decal - you don’t need to soak them in water. They can be used over a normal manicure before topcoat (I’d recommend using two topcoats for longevity) or with gel and shellac manicures. Here are a few of my favourite designs at the moment. Prices for a sheet range from £2-£4 so they are fantastic value :
I find the easiest way to apply these decals is by using a pair of tweezers. It also helps to bend the plastic sheet back to help lift up the decal.
Until next week...
