First, I typically do not post photos like this, and this is the only one I'm posting. I am a little concerned about posting it. Also, I know it doesn't fit my theme, but I did not want to ruin the integrity of the photo. __ Backstory: I originally scheduled this shoot for Mr. Pockets, but since we are no longer together, I figured I would repurpose this photo by turning it into something empowering concerning body positivity. I have NEVER in my life done anything like this. Seeing this photo before and after it was edited had me in complete shock. I couldnt believe it was me. I kept asking Don, who is that girl? I have never viewed myself this way because of my own body issues. I often call myself a plain jane. I didn't realize how empowering it was to do something like this as a plus size woman. Huge thanks @dgyoungphotos for making me feel comfortable during the entire shoot. And a round of applause to the woman that beat my face @riarigail. __ This photo represents an opportunity to turn a beautiful gesture of love into a beautiful moment and movement of self-love.
