Bouley Bay from the North Coast Cliff Path. The weather was not predicted to be good this weekend but it’s actually turned out nicer than expected so we took a short jaunt along part of the coast path. It was one of those walks that could have very easily accidentally ended up as a ten mile hike as there weren’t many opportunities to cut back to the road. Or maybe there are - more exploration is needed! Bouôn Pâques! Happy Easter in Jèrriais. Little accidental hike along part of the north coast today. The nights are drawing in so there’s not much time after work to get out so I thought I’d make the most of today’s sunshine. Thought I’d go and look at the view but ended up walking about 2K along the coast path. Bay number 27! On the hottest day of the year so far (35C) and a day when the tides were not really in my favour, Bouley Bay, my ‘local’ beach was the best choice for a cooling dip after work. It was pretty busy.... about 50 people and an array of dogs all swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. Almost there! I’m feeling so relaxed about getting all the bays done this year. Coffee, cake (out of shot because I’d already eaten it!), a book, the beach. What a perfect combination. I had to come down to #bouleybay this afternoon for a dip as it has been so hot today. I decided to do some sunbathing in the garden and get through a few chapters of my latest #goodreadschallenge book. The sea was absolutely delicious, it’s the only word I can think of to describe it.
