Within the forest, located near the town of Seinegald, a numerous amount of monsters were lurking around to hunt for its prey, anyone who get lost in there became their fallen victim. Their existence became a threat to the people of Seinegald, thereby the king called for Leon's presence in the kingdom to order him to exterminate monsters that could cause turmoil around Seigenald. As a loyal servant and knight of the kingdom, Leon was oath to fulfill his duty. After he received the order, Leon returned to his manor, rather Hugo's manor to prepared for his departure. The soldiers of the kingdom were well equipped with heavy armors and weapons, a disadvantage that it would slow down their movements once they faced the monsters hiding in the forest so Leon decided to go alone. He was not entirely fond of the idea of gaining elite subordinates yet could be killed instantly with just a sway of unpredictable monsters so going off on his own was more appropriate to his mission after all he was familiar in dealing with them.
In the narrowed passage of the forest the Knight walked into, anticipating for his adversary to appear without warning, he sauntered calmly, as if the situation does not call forth for danger, he continued thenceforward deep within the forest. A tedious expression was clearly illustrated upon his mien, all the while of his journey no sign of monsters had appeared to him. His patience was running out for having his time wasted for such unavailing order until a loud guttural sound echoed throughout the forest that seemed like coming from a monster. Leon took the path that would possibly lead him to where that sound he just heard was coming from. He walked fast until he got closer to the source and he was not wrong for his speculation. Before his eyes , a young girl was surrounded by the monsters, almost ready to make her their meal and devour her without mercy. The Knight placed his hand upon the tip of his sword and called for his swordian as his presence took the attention of the monsters in front of him.
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ❝ Chal. ❞ The knight spoke sternly as he looked at the monsters with a cold eyes. " Yes, young master. " His swordian replied gently, any order Leon gave to him must be done accordingly. Chaltier knew very well that his master would not let any of these monsters to slip through his blade.
The futile existence of these monsters must come to an end, the knight thought in his mind as he unsheathed his sword, emitted a small sound of metal grazing its cover and pointed his blade to his adversaries. The knight dashed forward the monsters as it did the same, avoiding their attack swiftly despite of their attempt to harm him all at once, as a well known genius swordsman, he would not get easily killed by some monsters.
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ❝ Kuushuken ! ❞ The knight activated his arte and a dark purple light emanated from his sword as Leon rapidly moved towards his opponents and slashed them downwards into half one by one. Under the chaotic encounter with the monsters of the forest, a sound of cutting flesh could be heard clearly from the distance. He rolled his dagger on his palm as he aim for the scruff of its neck, stabbing it upon the place he aim and he swung his sword to the other monsters that came to attack him, blocking their attack before it landed upon him, the impact caused him to stepped backwards but Leon use his strength to pushed them back and swayed his blade towards them. The other monsters charged at him at once so he ducked backwards to avoid the incoming blow from one of the monsters then he moved quick towards them, swinging his sword, the collision of his blade to their flesh immediately resulted into deep wound, slashing them without mercy, their blood spilled around the everywhere. Though he was outnumbered, the Knight didn't seem to be bothered by it as he cut them down without difficulties. Their number greatly decreased until only one was left, Leon sent his dagger flying to the direction of the monster, hitting its head but not deep enough to kill it, he jumped and hovered above it before slashing his blade downwards to its shoulder cutting it into half.
After the battle and the knight gained victory from defeating the monsters, the swordsman put his sword back. Leon shifted his cold and threatening gaze to the damsel shortly afterwards,
ㅤ ㅤ ❝ Possessing an ability yet incapable of protecting yourself, you have no use. No practice can fill what you lack of. ❞ A cold utterance blended with a scornful words escaped Leon's prideful mouth. He crossed his arms in displeasure as his blank gazed fell over the damsel, Leon didn't wasted another minute and began asking questions to know the damsel's identity and her purpose for travelling into the forest despite of knowing the danger. Leon was not that enthusiastic to hear her explanation but the necessity calls for it.
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ❝ Who are you and what are you doing here? ❞ Tons of queries did the knight gave as he bestowed her his cold treatment like he usually does to anyone he met. One can conclude that Leon was not amuse by the turned of events. If his journey was to save stubborn brats then he would prefer to leave them be and became the monsters meal. The forest was well known for dangers yet these people still went on this place.
