Oh most definitely. They could both entirely be summarized in opening cut scenes but you have to play at least an hour to get the same thing. Way to pad your games Nintendo. And the wolf stuff in Twilight Princess is beyond tedious.

Jaina has never not been my primary deck. I lucked out with some great cards early on (Pyroblast was one of the first I got), and what I have available as a whole really fits my playstyle.

Apparently, the SPRING BREAK boobs have been spotted in Portland and Memphis. I haven’t seen those in a while. I see Droolio a lot, NBD, Can’t Have Nice Things, Ruby. There are more that I can’t remember now. Sometimes I’ll see one a lot for a month or two and then they’ll never be seen again.

I am a little embarrassed that I’ve known for YEARS. But yes, the swoopy Bart Simpson (at least that’s what I see when I look at it) is part of the logo. He used to draw the face with the name “SHITbARF” but sometimes he just draws one or the other. He used to have a Tumblr with variations of that image on it. It seems that he either deleted or changed the URL.

If I were still in college, I’ll bet I could get credit for SHITbARF studies.

A song you can’t take seriously

so i’m going to go with a song that i’ve actively tried to take seriously and it wouldn’t work, and really it’s not a song but an artist: current 93. let’s go specifically with this carnival is dead and gone. people talk about them as this deadly serious apocalyptic experimental act but all i can hear is renaissance faire. it’s something about david tibet’s voice. it’s so high and emphatic and, well, british, and it just sounds like an intentionally goofy and overblown parody that escaped from some obscure british sitcom. it also really reminds me of mister band from achewood. occasionally i’ll tune in and listen to the lyrics and they’re often really evocative and good, and i feel like if i tried hard enough i could get into it and see it at its own level, but i need to actively ignore that overwhelming first instinct to laugh.
