Camping Trips

It’s been what can only be described as one of the most difficult months for them as a whole, what with Annie’s schooling issues, and Maddy’s little outburst shaking them all up. Red doesn’t know how much this family trip was going to help them out, but she will never deny the fact that it would be a nice change for the five of them. She’d be lying if she said she had slept the night before they’d gone. Red lay there watching the ceiling as she reeled off her mental list of things they would surely need. It was difficult, two weeks in the woods, in a small cabin Cer had managed to work off of Mr. Gold. A cabin Red was certain wouldn’t be too well equipped for either the girls nor Gabe. She had so much to get packing into their car for the trip she was trying to not rely on the fact it was only a short run home to get anything they’d forgotten.
It’s barely five when Red quietly slips out of bed, leaving Cer to get his rest. The pups haven’t even begun to stir yet, but it’s usually more than productive to begin work while they aren’t around to distract her. The tired brunette begins packing up bags with various bottles and cups, toys and sterilisers. She’s idly making up packed lunches for the kids as she goes too. Hopefully she can do all this before the kids wake up.
