can’t go wrong with dresses! and striped jumpers and tees are really in right now. Denim tops and black bottoms, spring is around the corner. tight black skirts, worth w/super comfy jumpers. Or just play it safe and get some flats for summer!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm swimming in flats otherwise I'd probably end up just getting some of those! It's difficult because Torrid's aesthetic is edgier and younger than I tend to like, which is very modest and cute-sy. But I've landed upon getting this skirt and maaaybe this belt, and then I'm trying to decide between this top and this top.

10. Favourite song?

SHIT NOT THIS QUESTION. At the moment, I’m gonna say the entire album Hazards of Love by the Decemberists because it’s essentially one hour long song opera thing and everybody needs to go listen to it. Otherwise, I’m going to say Birds by Kate Nash because it was the first song that introduced me to my favourite artist.

11. Favourite tumblr?

Charlavail. Forget the fact that she’s a super cool artist, theme park enthusiast living in Florida who goes on awesome trips and takes the kinds of photos to match, but she’s the kind of person I hope I could be. There are so many tumblrs I think are beautiful and also have incredible people behind them, but Charlavail has always stood out to me.

13. Favourite memory?

I used to wander through forests as a kid, I just thought they were so fascinating. I remember one morning in the fall getting up really early because I couldn’t sleep and thinking “I wonder what that forest looks like from up high”. I climbed out my bedroom window onto the roof just as the sun was rising and saw my entire neighbourhood, forest and all, laden with mist while the clouds were peppered throughout the sky with the perfect kind of sunset-like sunrise with pinks and reds and oranges glowing over it all.

That, and sitting on the floor in my old living room, sun streaming through the window, and discovering dust particles hanging in the air for the first time.

Life is full of magic.

1. If you’ve ever tried drugs or alcohol, what was your reason for first trying it?

Drugs no (though my brothers friend once smoked pot in front of me when I was 9 and I might have inadvertently gotten high) Alcohol? I’m pretty sure was champaign or wine and like a new years eve or something.

8. Have you ever been in a relationship that was going great, and then suddenly something weird happened and you just KNEW it was going to be over soon?
