Bourjois Bronzing Primer Review
I first heard about this product through Zoella (Zoe Sugg), in one of her monthly favourites videos on YouTube. I believe it is the students answer to Chanel's famous Soleil de Tan, giving similar results at a much smaller price (I got mine on sale on ASOS for about $10 AUD). There are so many things to love about this product, the consistency, the smell, the colour, the price, it really ticks all the columns for me, as a consumer.
Bourjois claims it smooths, evens and mattifies; personally I use this as more of a bronzer to warm up my face rather than a tinted primer, so I am unable to comment on its power as a primer, but as a bronzer it is amazing!
The texture is great, the mousse like formula makes for easy blending (which is great if you're not into a bold contour, but rather something subtle, which can be hard to achieve when working with powder)
The colour seems to work well on my super pale skin and doesn't leave me looking muddy and gross like some other bronzing products I've tried.
The smell. Oh my God the smell is AMAZING! As it says on the container "addictive fragrance" and man were they right when they wrote that. Bourjois have stuck with what they know the people love, chocolate; and what my nose seems to think is a hint of coconut (though I could be wrong about that). Either way it's incredible.
All in all I absolutely love this product and it is something I reach for on a daily basis, while doing my makeup and would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy something similar.
To the best of my knowledge it has yet to be released in Australian stores, but is available for purchase online.
