Burrito Joe, Bow Lane.

I’m a sucker for a recommendation and when a new colleague of mine suggested I stop at Burrito Joe’s I had to give it a go. 

My burrito was just an okay one however that doesn’t cut it with me. The chicken was tender but rather plain and tasteless, the guacamole was obviously from a jar with toothpaste like consistency and the rice was oddly yellow. That all being said, my burrito was beautifully rolled like an art form by the modest food truck employee, completely symmetrical with no loose bits coming undone.

There’s no doubt Burrito Joe uses fresh ingredients (minus the pre-bought guac) however it was very middle of the road and tasted rather average.

Getting lost in London

The architecture in London is so intruiging, and somehow the old and new always seem to bear a certain resemblance. It's all a rather quaint mixture of elegance and timelessness, of geometry and quirkiness. I find it lovely to spend a sunny Saturday morning wandering around aimlessly, just to admire the buildings and enjoy the fresh breeze.
