I “lost” my good headphones a week ago. Of course I have just stored them in a tiny shopping bag which was sitting on the floor of my bedroom and waiting for me to tidy up to find them. D’oh!! barely covers it. I bought these headphones three years ago and I always remember the first time I put them on, after wearing iPhone earbuds for years, and I realised how much I’ve been missing. I was going to buy another set even though they cost $200 (BTW: Beats headphones cost as much but the driver, the critical acoustical component, is the same as a pair of $20 headphones. A few years ago someone did a tear down and found a $150 pair of Beats headphones has $14 in components, including lead weights to make them feel more substantial.
